Hello and welcome, the Child Care Provider Connection we meet Quarterly: Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer. We do a little business and discuss things we would like to do as a group as well as community events we want to be involved in. Then we share our ideas and concerns about Home Daycare.

We have a start-up package for Care Providers with all the regulations, suggestions and forms to get you up and running, we also have a child care registry, which all registered child care providers of the Child Care Provider Connection are on.   So when a parent calls looking for child care I provide them the list of providers in their area. I am not a licencing agency just a support group so parents are required to do their own screening.
You can access a Parent Information Package ( free of charge) on How To Choose Quality Child Care, which includes a telephone interview checklist as well as a home visit checklist by contacting your Ontario Early Years Centre nearest you, in Barrie their phone number is 792-7878, if outside of Barrie click on our LINKS page to access the main site for OEYC locations throughout Ontario.
